Rome today is one of the most important tourist destinations of the world, due to the incalculable immensity of its archaeological and artistic treasures, as well as for the charm of its unique traditions, the beauty of its panoramic views, and the majesty of its magnificent "villas" (parks). Among the most significant resources are the many museums – (Musei Capitolini, the Vatican Museums, Galleria Borghese, including those dedicated to modern and contemporary art and great many others) – aqueducts, fountains, churches, palaces, historical buildings, the monuments and ruins of the Roman Forum, and the Catacombs. Rome is the 3rd most visited city in the EU, after London and Paris, and receives an average of 7–10 million tourists a year, which sometimes doubles on holy years. The Colosseum (4 million tourists) and the Vatican Museums (4.2 million tourists) are the 39th and 37th (respectively) most visited places in the world, according to a recent study.
Rome is a major archaeological hub, and one of the world's main centres of archaeological research. There are numerous cultural and research institutes located in the city, such as the American Academy in Rome, and The Swedish Institute at Rome, to name a few. Rome contains numerous ancient sites, including the Forum Romanum, Trajan's Market, Trajan's Forum the Colosseum, and the Pantheon, to name but a few. The Colosseum, arguably one of Rome's most iconic archaeological sites, is regarded as a wonder of the world.

Reviews of this property
The appartement was very nice: bright, clean, quiet & confortable. It is just 2 minutes walking to the metro station and also close to the railway station (to get to the airport).
Almost perfect location, near metro, railway station and supermarket - for 2 persons a spacious apartment on the 4th floor, with elevator - good and easy communication with Sandro
Good, spacious appartement in Rome. Metro station close by as well as supermarket. Keydelivery was accurate.
Sandro is an excellent host. During our stay he ensured that everything was confortoble to us and that we had everytinhg we needed. The flat is nice, fully furnished and really close to a metro station and a railway station.
Excellent choice if you're visiting Roma for some days!
We stayed for 2 nights here. Very nice place. Centrally located , convenient to metro , easy check in and check out . Everything was perfect and Mr.Sandro was helpful in every aspect to make our trip happier. We would sure recommend to anyone.
The apartment we liked. It is located very close to the metro line A and the Tuscolana Station in a pleasant residential area. The house is a tenement house with nice (old) people. The apartment was clean and pleasant. Sandro's son has received and introduced us nice. Weather-wise, seems to be an ideal time of the October. Approx. 20 degrees.
The apartment is clean, well maintained and very well located (easy access to the airport via line FR1, holding Represents Tuscolana and to the city center, metro station Ponte Lungo). The Key pick up with Sandro's son went smoothly. The recommended Local (especially the pizzeria Dal Bersagliere) can only be recommended. Special thanks to Sandro, who has helped us supi-well in the recovery of our Alli Talia in Milan 'forgotten' case. Conclusion: the apartment is very well suited for a city trip to Rome.
very happy with this accommodation convenient to access, clean, well equipped I recommend it without problem and thank you again to Sandro
très contente de ce logement pratique d'accès, propre, bien équipé je le recommande sans problème et merci encore à Sandro
We had a wonderful time in Rome, and the apartment was big and nice for our toddler to run around in. We took the metro, which was very close, to the center for sightseeing. There was a very nice restaurant on Via Galazia, closer to Redi Roma metro station (the stop befor Ponte Lungo were the apartment was). And the supermarket and trainstation (train to the airport) was also very close. The only downside to the apartment was that it was really noisy with a lot of traffic outside the bedroom window, and due to warm weather we had to have the window open. So bring earplugs :) Other than that, super!
