Dennistoun benefits from a large Victorian park, Alexandra Park, which is bounded predominately by the M8/M80, Cumbernauld Rd & Provan Road. The Park takes its name from Princess Alexandra of Denmark, the wife of the future King Edward VII of the United Kingdom, who officially opened the Park in 1870. The park was established in 1866 when the City Improvement Trustees purchased Alexandra Park from Mr Walter Stewart of Haghill under special powers conferred upon them by legislation. Mr Alexander Dennistoun, the proprietor of the adjoining estate of Golfhill, gifted 5 acres (20,000 m2) of land to the City Improvement Trustees. This ground was situated near the south-west corner adjacent to Alexandra Parade, which now forms the principal pedestrian entrance.
You will be sleeping on a double futon in the living room. Stylish property with high ceilings, laminate flooring and all mod cons, including wi fi, free street parking, good road/public transport links and close to amenities. You can cook in the kitchen and store groceries there. We have three cats as well, so would prefer cat lovers.

Adrian and his wife are very kind and polite people. The flat and the cat are lovely. If you want you can use the kitchen for cooking. The bathroom is very clean. The flat is easy to find, half an hour to walk from Queen Street Station. When we go back to Glasgow we will sleep there again.
Yeah. What a wonderful night :) Everything perfect . Very nice people. A good tea in the afternoon and in the morning.
I was a guest of Adrian and Laura, for me it was a rewarding experience and growth. They are two people of great humanity. Always willing to help and very nice people in the ways of doing. I wish him good luck and thank for all my friends!
Adrian is a lovely host, in for a chat and very helpfull; The room is simple but has everything you need! I had a lovely stay in Glasgow
Adrian's and Laura's apartment was lovely and both hosts have also been very welcoming and nice to us. Thanks again for staying up late due to our missed flight!
Adrian and Laura were very friendly and welcomed me in their nice and stylish flat. They helped me with finding my way around and gave me very useful maps. I was allowed to use their kitchen and felt at home the very first minute I arrived. We had many great talkings.
Thanks a lot. =)
This truly is a lovely room with a garden view in a renovated Victorian flat. It looked as if it were designed by Wedgewood. Lots of pretty things and books to look at. The central location made it very easy to get around Glasgow and back on the bus. Adrian was a gracious host and lots of fun to talk to. He is also a gifted artist with a great sense of humor. This was my first Wimdu stay, and I am pleased with the experience.
I had a wonderfull night in a spacious and light room, very close to the city centre of Glasgow. The room was tidy and neat. Adrian ha been a very hospitable and friendly host.
The room, which is used by the hosts as the living room is spacious and the bed (sofa bed) can accommodate two people.
If you like cats, the apartment has an advantage, otherwise - especially if you are allergic - not really recommended because this may tigers around everywhere and are also quite curious :)
The privacy is somewhat limited, since you can not close the door (defective and cats must indeed go in and out), the same is true for the night.
The apartment is walking distance about 20 minutes from the center (George Square) away. Taxi costs about £ 6-7. Entferung to stop "Bellgrove" the ScotRail Edinburgh about 8 minutes on foot.
Adrian is a very warm and attentive host and also helps with taxi orders :)
