|Address||digeni, 85100 koskinou, Greece|
EOT license number: ar.prot.:3576/15//09//2014
Lemonia is located in the traditional precinct of the old village of Koskinou in the island of Rhodes. The village is less than ten minutes drive from Rhodes Medieval and New town and three minutes from the near-by Kalithea beach. It is famous for it 's local sweets 'melekounia' (honey and sesame sweets), it's wood bakeries and it's many taverns with local food.
The Lemonia is right next doors to the Myrtia house, and can be rented together, for bigger groups or 2 families.
Lemonia house is a stone-built house made before 1928 (year that was first registered) with original hand made pebble floors, last restored in 1954, as written on the living room floor. The last renovation finished in 2012.
The house consists of one kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, 1 big bathroom, an extra toilet, one big interior courtyard and there is a roof terrace as well, with sunbeds. The kitchen has a high sleeper with double bed, the living has 2 high sleepers with each a single bed, and the bedroom has a double bed as well. the high sleepers each have their own stairs going up, and curtains in front of it, for privacy.
The large living room offers a discrete comfort adjusted to the village's style with many of it's original furniture and a big dining table enough for six persons. The kitchen is fully equipped with all devices for a comfortable stay and with direct access to the living room and also to the courtyard table.
The interior courtyard leads to another toilet and has a nice barbeque. The privacy that the courtyard has to offer makes it ideal for sunbathing or outdoor dining.
The house also has a washing machine, a dish washer, free Wi-Fi, a telephone for incoming calls.
Lemonia house is a village house, right next to Myrtia house, so can also be booked in combination with this house, for larger groups or 2 families. The house is located in this very nice and friendly typical Greek neighborhood, where the granny's are sitting outside watching their grandchildren play on the streets, and keeping an eye on social matters around. both Lemonia house and Myrtia house have high walls surrounding the property, so you will only find the neighborhood once passing these walls. the neighbors love spoiling our guests with some jam, a glass of wine or just a simple good morning in greek, and like to learn some english too. at night they all sit outside and have a drink on the streets, while laughing on naughty jokes.
the Lemonia house is a ver comfortable and spacious house, with 2 double beds, and 2 single beds. there are 2 sleeping sofa's as well, in case someone might crash out on your couch. the house has all amenities wishable, and it guarantees a great stay for a holiday.
the pergola in the courtyard takes care of enough shade, but on the roof terrace one can enjoy the sun to the fullest as its there almost all day.

Reviews for this host's other properties
We had a very nice stay at the Lavender House. Koskinou is a very typical Greek village, with small pebble stone streets and friendly people. From Koskinou you are within 10 min. in Rhodes City (by car), and close tot to the road to to Epta Piges, Anthony Quinn Bay, Archangelos Beach and Lindos.
The house was very nice and clean, with plenty of room and a nice classic Greek interior.
Lavender house was beautiful and Koskinou was nice and calm. Gudrun was a very nice host and we would love to come back again sometime!
Do you want to live your greek dream? here it is!
The house is situated in a very lovely location, narrow streets with all year living people with the daily- lives sounds. And at the same time you have all the rest of want you might look for on your holiday as restaurants, beaches, interesting sites nearby.
The house is an experience itself. Renovated in a really, really nice way with an extraordinary feeling for coulor and details.the reality is even better than the photos here. And even though we never got to meet the host we felt welcomed and a hospitality in all the arrangements in the house.
We were there as a couple and it would have easily been comfortable for more people. The only restriction we can see is if you have any disability to move; the stairs are frequent and steep.
We spent a week in this dream house typically Greek, located in the quiet streets of the small village of Koskinou beautifully restored and fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, espresso maker, electric fruit press, TV, DVD, hate hi-fi, wi-fi connection free bbq, and the icing on the cake on arrival, a bread in the fridge and a Greek salad and a bottle of wine. could ask for more? hosts are charming and have other locations as well restored in the same village, also available on Wimdu. Anyway, nothing to complain about.
