Reviews of this property
Me and my wife spend 4 days at Milan staying at the flat. The location of the flat is very convenience, close to central station from where you can take bus to Malpensa airport and main trains put of Milano like Venice, Como lake etc. Alos the shopping area is a short walk about 20 minutes which we didnt bother. Walking around the town is better rather than taking taxis and busses. You get to know the city better and see all shops. Near the flat is the big skycryper of Unicredit and a small financial center. Is the area where you can see all new skycrypers and new buildings. There is also a near supermarket at the near plaza which is very cheap. The decoration of the flat is very old which looks better from wimdu pictures. Its one bedroon flat with living room , kitchen and bathroom. Bedroom is a reasonable size with retro furniture. The wifi was not working and ask the landlor to fix it. Till the day we left nothing happened. Wonder if they have fixed it. Looking back to old reviews some others had the same problem and now i wonder if they ever had a workable wifi. We had one set of towel each with not replacement. The bedroom was very well climate with the central heating working all day. Hot water was 27/7 however we had a bit of problem is shower. Hot water could not stay all time same tempreture which was annoy. Also when another person was using other water tap the water was becaming very cold. Windows was very old single glase and difficult to open or close. TV had many channels including some english ones. Bed sheets was not clean so we asked for fresh ones who have provided. The landlord claimed that the sheets were cleaned but they offered fresh ones. Overall cleanless of the flat was not up my standard if i compare with a hotel i would say a 2 star bedroom. If you dont mind the flat contintion but you prefer a good location then go for it. You get what you pay.
Management helpful and polite, very organized.
stay relaxed and pleasant.
Definitely recommended !!!
Gestione disponibile e gentile, molto organizzata.
soggiorno rilassato e piacevole.
Lovely apartment, located next to Gioia station on the green line which makes it a 5 mins walk from the Brera district which a lovely up and coming area in Milan with lots of new stores, hearty Italian bars and restaurants and is also a 7 minute walk away.
To get from Malpensa to Centrale you can grab a shuttle bus which is €16 return or a train, either is easy. Milan Rentals is located in the small park/square outside to the side of the station next, on the opposite side of the road to where the coaches park. It's building number 24 and press the Buzzer for Milan apartments.
The apartment could have been a bit cleaner in terms of dust but all facilities worked perfect, towels and linens provided and it felt much like home after 2 nights.
Marcelo and Filiberto are fantastic gentlemen from Milan Rentals who were very helpful.
The host was very welcoming when the keys of the apartment. It is very well located and well arranged.
However there are some improvements to predict, especially at the plate gas and the smell of gas. It seems dangerous. Plus it lacks some lights!
L'hôte a été très accueillant lors de la remise des clés de l'appartement. Celui-ci est très bien situé et bien agencés.
Cependant il y a quelques améliorations a prévoir, surtout au niveau de la plaque du gaz et l'odeur du gaz. Cela me semble dangereux.
Filiberto and his colleagues from Milan Rentals did a great job. They provided us with a load of helpful information not only abaout the apartment but as well about the journey to Milan. We felt very welcome and the whole procedure was uncomplicated.
The apartment lies in a convenient area of the city (good subway connection and stores are reachable by feet). The equipment of the apartment is ok and the furniture is in good shape. Unfortunately, the windows are a little leaky so there were noises from the street and sometimes a little wind of cold air.
The flat is in a nice neighbourhood with a great pizzeria and trattoria nearby, close to the metro station and within walking distance to the city centre. It is nicely furnished with quirky and stylish pieces of furniture, thus giving a cheery vibe to the flat. Climbing to the 3rd floor (as there is no lift) might not be for everyone's liking, however, you could always think of it positively when you eat another slice of pizza or another scoop of gelato:)
The only negative thing is that the flat becomes really cold in the evenings as - although the heating is on in the evening until about 9pm - the windows are quite old and all the warmth is gone from the flat by 9.30pm, so you need to wrap up warm when going to sleep (and go to shower early). I would suggest the renting company to fix the windows, or at least to leave a few warm blankets in the flat. Otherwise, we will have only good memories of it.
Good appartment but we were stolen into the appartment.
Very close to Corso Como and some nightclubs.
