This time thank you very much for your help.
Both the supermarket and the subway had good peace and order soon, too, and was able to stay comfortably; thank you!
The hot water of the bath was warm, too, and the coffee was delicious, too!
The interior of the room is wonderful!
It was our second time we stayed in this great appartment. Its a great place to stay because its easy to go to the centre of paris. We walked to the centre, we also used the Vélib, short by you can take a Velib (Velo + Libre). Its a great way to explore Paris.
And Johanne was very friendly and helpfull.
We are looking forward to come back this year :)
We spent two nights in Johanne's apartment in half term. Johanne speaks excellent English and communications were friendly and easy.
We drove into Paris having spent several days in Normandy - we parked in the Porte de Saint Ouen car park at the top of the road (5 mins walk from the flat).
The flat was clean and homely though a lot smaller than it looks in the photos. We were with two strapping teenage sons which made things rather cramped but a couple or family with younger children would fit easily.
The flat is on a busy Parisian street and with the windows open it is very noisy day and night but the double glazing is excellent and it's very quiet with the windows shut. If you like fresh air as you sleep ear plugs are a must.
There is a bus that runs all the way to the Louvre which is great for seeing a bit of the city or the Metro just 5 mins away. A bakery and supermarket is nearby and we enjoyed take out pizza from the little Italian nearby.
The bed was comfy, the sofa bed full size and 100% cotton bed linen provided. The deep bath tub was lovely after a busy day.
We would definitely recommend Johanne's flat....
We enjoyed our stay, its a lovely appartment in a nice area. The Metro is very close and brings you in 10 min to the centre of Paris. A carefour supermarket is right at the corner, also a bakery and a butchery. Very friendly people in those 2 shops :)
We had a great time, and Johanne is very friendly, and easy to have contact with.
We stayed in Johanne´s apartment for 5 days and here´s the review:
+ The apartment is centrally located, the metro station 200m away and every tourist spot can be reached within 20 minutes.
+ The rooms are clean and it´s nicely decorated. Dishes, pots, cups and even a broom and tools can be found in the apartment.
+ Johanne is really nice and she always can be contacted by phone.
+ The area is safe, even at night and a supermarket is right at the corner, also a bakery and a butchery.
- There is not enough space for personal items. The wardrobe is full and so are the cupboard and the fridge.
- You can´t open the window at night if you have a light sleep. The cars and noises from outside are incredible loud. But as sons as you close the window, it´s completely silent. Every 20-30 minutes during the day, you can feel the metro passing by.
- The smells from outside (a chicken grill is directly below) are a bit annoying. Fumes, deep-frying fat, food and paint. It´s not all the time, depends on the wind direction.
=> So all things considered we would definitely recommend this apartment. As long as you haven´t a problem with the smells and the noises, but you become accustomed to it.
Me and my brother had a wonderful stay in Paris. Joannes flat was very easy to find and very near the metro Guy Moquet. Joanne is a lovely friendly person. Her flat is very clean and has lovely airy atmosphere. I slept on the sofa bed which was easy to get out and comfortable. The kitchen is charming and well-equiped. She didn't mind me playing her piano! The road below is busy (you can't hear it with the windows shut), but has lots of local shops and a useful Carrefour supermarket. It was the perfect place to come home to after exploring Paris.
thanks a lot for your charming and cosy flat. everything was very clean and perfectly arranged, we just can recommend your flat.
we enjoyed our stay a lot!
yes, bit sad, we didn't met, maybe next time:-)
we wish you all the best and hope you had a good journey!
