This is a 19th century apartment with high ceiling and a lot of space to relax (92sqm) after a long day in Prague. I should say that this is one bedroom apartment but in fact, there is one bedroom, one huge living room with a pull out couch, and a dinning room with kitchen separated from the other two rooms by a corridor. Also, there is a beautiful balcony that you may use and have your breakfast in the morning right there.
I know how important it is to stay in touch with your family and friends or to have access to internet for work any time of the day. Therefore, there is a high-speed internet connection (wifi / cable)

Please be advised that this apartment is on the 3rd floor and the elevator only works during working days, so it is not suitable for families with small children and people with disabilities.
Whether you are coming to Prague from the airport or from the train station, the location is just perfect. I included the directions below.
This apartment is located just in the middle of the historical Vinohrady area. This is the most wanted area in Prague, best know for it`s famous residents. There are many painters and writers, who live pernamently nearby - they have often been inspired by events and conversations taking place in the park next to my apartment and immortalized the park in their fiction.
Vinohrady are very popular by the citizens in Prague, because this historical area doesn`t get as much noise as Wenceslas Square and other noisy location, yet, it is an area of the best restaurants, clubs and shops in Prague.
Visitors can reach the middle of the town (Wenceslas Square) within 5-10 minutes and continue down to the river to explore more of Prague. If you go down Vinohradska street, you will reach the National Museum of Prague, or the Prague Orchestra within 5 minutes.

I can provide airport pickup and drop off via 3rd party company for 20USD one way. Please not that the regular rate is about 40USD.
CAUTION: due to an increase of complains in Prague, I strongly discourage you from using taxies in Prague, unless you negotiate the price in advance. Please be advised that taxi rates within the center should not exceed 9USD.
CAUTION2: in Prague, there are many money exchange companies that rip off tourists. I suggest you either take money from ATM or use XCHANGE in Jindrisska street, Prague 1 (very close to Wenceslas Square)
I believe that behind every successful project, there is an idea. The reason why I am renting my apartment via airbnb is to make guests` stays in Prague memorable in the best way possible. I am always happy to help with travel plans, give directions but most importantly, to provide pieces of advice that will safe time going to places which are not really worth it.
Where do the money go? A considerable amount of the money that I get from airbnb is used to preserve this beautiful building. Thanks to your support, I already reconstructed all statues and decorations in the corridors of the building, isolated the cellar from wet ground, reconstructed the roof of the building (when I bought the apartment, nobody in the building paid any attention to the corridors) We also managed to built an elevator, especially to allow older people to use the building as well. By April 2013, I will have built the elevator to every floor, and all corridors reconstructed just as they were in the times the house was built. In 2013, I hope to take care of the beautiful yard which is a bit neglected today and turn it into a small oasis in the heart of Prague. Whatever was achieved was due to your help and support.

All prices are inclusive of heating, electricity, hot water and final cleaning and Internet. All prices are exclusive of national and international telephone calls and extra services (reservation required) such as baby sitter, airport collection, car with driver and basic shopping on arrival.
Arrival and departure times
Please arrive after 14:00 on the given day; earlier arrivals can usually be accommodated but please let us know in advance. In order to give us maximum time to prepare the property between lets, it is usually necessary to vacate the premises by 11.00 on the day of departure. We ask that you exercise the courtesy of leaving the premises clean and in good order on your departure. Everything is a matter of discussion.
Booking and Cancellations
The owners or their insurers shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by the client(s) while on or in any way connected with the property. No liability will be accepted for any loss, damage, expense, injury or inconvenience by reason of any defects in the structure of the property, plumbing, electrical systems, gas, water or failures in the supply of utilities.
We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to provide personal and public liability protection. The safety and welfare of children is the sole responsibility of their parent or guardian.
The accommodation is only for the use of the persons specified during the booking process and is restricted to the maximum number of guests being 4 adults.
The client is responsible for maintaining the apartment in a clean and tidy condition during the period of the letting and shall report any damage, breakage or loss to the owners as soon as is reasonably possible and in any event on the termination of the letting. The client must return the keys to the owners on departure.

Wonderful apartment perfectly located in short distance to the Wenceslas square, Metro station Muzeum. Furnished tastefully and everything you might need is available. We were there with two children and it fit very nicely. But the best about that flat is the host, he picked us up, there was food in the fridge and fresh flowers on the table. We really felt very much welcome and will definitely book this apartment again for our next visit in Prague! Thanks again Andreas!
Beautiful apartment, comfortable, very well located, 3 minutes walk from the Place Vencesls, Metro Museum. The bedding is excellent, we slept very well. Andreas is very helpful, friendly even. I recommend it.

Beautiful designed and perfectly equipped flat hearted next to all major destinations (Metro: Muzeum). It has been thought on everything, you can prepare a perfect dinner without missing a single kitchen tool, WIFI is even faster than at home, never saw such a gib flat TV ever before...
The owner was very helpful and patient, offered to pick us up when we got lost and even bought some basic food because we arrived with children in evening hours!
We'll definitely come back!

Geweldig appartement met fraaie luxueuze uitstraling met uitzicht op de Moldau en het nationaal theater. Alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand.
Helaas kwamen er wel enkele gebreken aan het licht. Douchekoppen konden niet opgehangen worden. Douchewand was incompleet. Gasfornuis was stuk, we konden niet koken. geen handdoeken voor keuken en toilet .
We werden gastvrij ontvangen.
War ganz toll
Keurig en schoon appartement. Vooral geschikt voor 2 of 3 personen. Goede locatie; makkelijk de binnenstad in en verder dichtbij de metro. In de buurt voldoende restaurantjes. Zeker aan te beleven. Niet geschikt voor mensen die een gezellig aangekleed en sfeervol appartement willen; alles is strak, in het wit. Vonden wij prima
Eine sehr schöne helle und saubere Wohnung.Kann man echt weiter Empfehlen.Ausstattung ist okay.
Die Lage ist optimal.Nur ca. 7 Minuten zum Wenzelsplatz, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt um die Ecke. Wir konnten alles zu Fuß erlaufen.
Freundlicher Empfang, Konnten unser Gepäck sogar vorher und nachher abstellen.
Da Prag viel zu sehen hat werden wir wohl diese Wohnung noch einmal buchen.
Die 4 Etagen waren für uns Mittefünfziger kein Problem.
Konnten sogar an einem Nachmittag die schöne Terrasse nutzen. Sehr ruhig !
Schlüsselübergabe bei Anreise erfolgte problemlos. Eine schöne große saubere Wohnung ideale Aufteilung der Zimmer mit einem zentralen Wohnzimmer von dem man auf eine möblierte Terrase kommt sowie in eine geräumige Küche mit vorgelagerten Esstisch. Küche komplett ausgestattet. Wohnung liegt zentral. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel ca. 5min. Fussweg entfernt. Zum Wenzelplatz sind es 10 min. Fussweg. Parkmöglichkeiten vom Vermieter in ca 15min. Entfernug (Fussweg), neben dem Wenzelplatz für ein Fahrzeug. für das zweite Auto etwas weiter entfernt. Beides Tiefgaragen Gesamtkosten 70€ für 3 Tage.
Wir haben die Wohnung zu 6. genutzt. Auch das Treppensteigen (4.Etage) war kein Problem.Trotz zentraler Lage war vom Verkehrslärm nichts zu hören.
Vermieter und seine (Kollegen) waren sehr freundlich und gaben einige Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Kommen gerne wieder.
